After a successful international business career spanning more than fifteen years,

Sigal has chosen to return to her main passion: design.  

As the daughter of an artist, she grew up in an atmosphere of creativity and has

always been fascinated with artistic expression using a wide range of media

including sculpture, pottery, drawing and painting, stained glass, woodcarving,

porcelain painting, to name a few.

 

Sigal’s work is influenced by the cultures she has experienced from her extensive

travels. She has lived in Israel, New York, Berlin, Japan, Shanghai and recently

moved to Victoria B.C. to settle down with her husband and three young children.

 

During her 8 years in Shanghai, Sigal turned her talents to Interior Design. In collaboration with Domitila Lepri, an award winning Italian architect and owner of DLArchitecture (www.dl-architecture.net), Sigal worked on a number of residential and commercial projects.  Combining her business background with her design skills, she managed renovation projects beginning to end. She worked extensively with local clients and contractors, from the initial stage of design inspiration ideas, through design concept, pricing, drawings, rendering, construction supervision, to the final stage of ensuring that the smallest details of soft decoration and styling stayed true to the design concept.

 

The last few years of living in beautiful Victoria B.C. have inspired Sigal to extend her interior design studio offerings to include textile and tile design for unique home accessories. Her designs are eclectic and contemporary, with great attention to detail and use of color and tone to get the desired atmospheres.
